The MATEKUS project was a strategic initiative aimed at addressing the critical need for skilled labor in the fields of machine technology and industrial automation within Turkey. As industries worldwide, including those in Turkey, rapidly evolve due to technological advancements, the demand for a workforce adept in the latest tools and systems has grown substantially. The project was designed to bridge this skills gap by providing specialized training to vocational students, thereby enhancing their employability and ensuring they can meet the needs of the modern labor market.

ARDA Beratung & Beratung GmbH played a central role in the successful implementation of the MATEKUS project. Leveraging its extensive experience in international training programs and partnerships, ARDA was responsible for organizing the entire internship program in Berlin, Germany.

The internship program was executed in two phases, with 20 students, including one with special needs, and 4 accompanying teachers participating. Each group underwent a two-week intensive training course, where they received hands-on experience in advanced workshops equipped with cutting-edge technology. The students worked on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced professionals, which allowed them to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
