Project number: KA210-SCH-9F41A575
Specific Objectives and Outcomes:
Our project aims to address critical environmental problems that have worsened since the industrial
revolution, including the increased use of fossil fuels, deforestation, and the accumulation of greenhouse gases. These problems threaten ecological systems and human life. In response, global
climate summits and the EU's Green Deal have emerged as key initiatives to address these threats. The aim of our project is to raise environmental awareness among students from an early age,
fostering a commitment to sustainability and climate change awareness.
Project Aims:
- Developing innovative methods and techniques for teachers in environmental education and integrating these
methods into the curriculum.
- Studying and implementing best practices from eco-schools to improve our institutions.
- Establishing effective recycling systems in our institutions and creating recycling workshops for
students.
- Increasing teachers' STEAM skills in environmental education by at least 50%.
- Creating STEAM activities aimed at building a sustainable world and improving students' STEAM skills in
environmental education.
- Producing environmental education materials using digital tools.
- Fostering a sense of EU identity among participants through cultural and social activities that emphasize
environmental values.
- Improving participants' foreign language skills and familiarity with different
languages.
- Using partners' expertise in eco-schools, STEAM, eTwinning, etc., to enrich project outcomes and provide EU
added value.
Expected Results:
- Development of new methods and techniques for environmental education in schools.
- Creation of digital environmental education
materials for different audiences (e.g., presentations, web 2.0 tools).
- Production of videos of sustainable STEAM events.
- Production of a teacher's e-booklet in five languages with sample applications and
activities.
- Production of a parent information booklet on climate change, available in five
languages.
- Development of an environmental education curriculum.#
- Organization of three environmental workshops in each participating country, involving teachers, students,
and parents.
- Design and dissemination of brochures, posters, and project boards.
- Establishment of project social media accounts and a dedicated website.
- Organization of end-of-project exhibitions (e.g., on recycling).
- Implementation of an eTwinning project.
- Issuance of Europass Mobility and Participation documents.
Alignment with Priorities:
Our objectives and results align with the priority of addressing climate change and environmental issues.
The project's materials and activities, including a multilingual e-booklet for teachers, climate-related STEAM studies, transnational EU cooperation, and improved teacher skills in environmental
education, STEAM, and digital tools, directly support our priority of promoting climate awareness and sustainable practices.
