The objective of this project is to provide targeted educational opportunities for disadvantaged women, specifically housewives, migrants, and refugee women with multiple disabilities. These populations frequently encounter substantial obstacles that inhibit their engagement with the educational system. Such challenges are often a result of their responsibilities in domestic care work and structural exclusions from formal education, which limit their access to skill development and professional training.
By implementing innovative educational approaches and providing accessible online courses, this project aims to improve the employability of these women, thereby facilitating their professional advancement. The project is designed to dismantle spatial and temporal barriers to education, enabling these women to integrate learning into their daily lives flexibly. This approach not only contributes to individual capacity building but also enhances the economic autonomy and social capabilities of the target groups.
A fundamental aspect of the project is the promotion of gender equality, a core value of the European Union, supported by extensive legal and policy frameworks. The project aligns with key policy areas such as the enhancement of employability, social inclusion, and economic growth. It seeks to address these priorities through tailored educational programs for disadvantaged women.
The strategic partnership, comprising six organizations from Norway, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Finland, and Austria, is collaboratively developing a user-friendly e-learning platform. This tool is intended to strengthen the digital and financial literacy of the target groups, as well as their competencies in social and economic entrepreneurship. A significant focus is placed on addressing the challenges of digital transformation by enhancing the participants' digital readiness, flexibility, and capacity.
In addition, the project aims to raise awareness of the specific challenges and needs faced by disadvantaged women in society. Through targeted public outreach and collaboration with local communities and organizations, the project seeks to increase societal understanding and support for these women. This is a critical step towards fostering long-term opportunities for equal participation in both the labor market and broader society.
The anticipated outcomes of the project include:
These initiatives are intended to promote the economic and social integration of disadvantaged women, equipping them with the necessary tools to independently shape their futures. Moreover, the project aspires to contribute significantly to the reduction of gender-based disparities in the education and labor sectors by leveraging innovative educational strategies and digital learning environments.
