Twenty-seven vocational teachers from twenty-two provinces of Turkey have completed a four-week Vocational and Educational Training Program. This program was prepared by ARDA Consulting & Education in cooperation with its expert network. Participants updated their practical knowledge, refreshed their pedagogical skills, and broadened their job-related skills and competencies. The program included structured courses, job-shadowing, observation periods, workshops, seminars, and presentations at various institutions, including:

 

  • Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Berlin - Meeting with the Educational Attaché, Dr. Gürsel Gür

 

  • Federal Chancellery of Germany

 

  • TÜV (Practical Seminar, 2 weeks)

 

  • Bildungs- und Technologiezentrum der Handwerkskammer Berlin (BTZ)

 

  • Dr. Christian Hanke, Mayor of the District Berlin Mitte

  • Vocational High Schools:

 

  • Oberstufenzentrum für Holztechnik, Glastechnik und Design: Marcel-Breuer-Schule

 

  • Carl-Legien-Schule

 

  • Technical University of Berlin - Workshop with Prof. Dr. Johannes Meyser

 

The program was designed to comprehensively enhance the professional capabilities of the participants through a blend of practical and theoretical approaches. This included:

 

 

 

 

 

  • Hands-on Experience: Participants engaged in practical seminars and job-shadowing at prestigious institutions like TÜV and BTZ, allowing them to observe and participate in cutting-edge techniques and practices in furniture and interior design.

  • Theoretical Training: Workshops and seminars, such as those at the Technical University of Berlin, provided in-depth knowledge on the latest educational theories, methodologies, and technological advancements in the field.

 

  • Cultural and Professional Exchange: Meetings with officials like Dr. Christian Hanke and the Educational Attaché, Dr. Gürsel Gür, facilitated a cultural exchange and a better understanding of the German education system and its approach to vocational training.

 

  • Networking Opportunities: Interactions with peers and experts from various vocational high schools and institutions fostered a collaborative learning environment, promoting the exchange of innovative ideas and best practices.
