Our project is aimed at eldercare, disabled care and home care services. Within our project, two mobilities, one of them is to Portugal and the other one is to Germany, will be carried out. Our participants are 12th grade nursing assistant and health care technician students of our school. For each mobility 9 students, in total 18 students and 2 accompanying people will take part in. These students will do internship for 2 weeks in 4 different eldercare centers belonging to companies which are very successful in terms of both the number of employees and the quality and range of service. In this internship the students will also participate in homecare practices. Besides, they will receive a 6 hours of training about eldercare services by the host vocational education institution in Germany.

Besides, with our project, we aim to provide our nursing assistant and health care technician students with a 2 week institutional and home care internship in the eldercare centers of our host institutions in two European countries; Germany and Portugal in which care services are developed, and help them to become professional in their professions to observe healthcare services in Europe onsite, to recognize the latest device and equipment in geriatric nursing and to learn the care services that change from institutional care into home care. Apart from all these, we aim to increase the quantity and quality of the manpower in the health sector, to provide the recognition of EU standards in eldercare and rehabilitation services by the participants at institutional and national

level; to increase the quality of our vocational education; to provide the acquirement of necessary qualifications in social and psychological rehabilitation as well as physical rehabilitation; to offer the participants an opportunity to create an international communication network for active participation in the society and to develop an understanding of European citizenship and identity.
