Our Highschool is the only one Sports Highschool in Mersin, our school has a school director, four managers, twenty three teachers, two stuff and 309 students. Our students who are  15-19 years are chosen by a special ability exam. Last year, two enabled students started our school by passing this exam for the first time.

Nearly ¼ of our students have the absenteesm problem. Beside this, failing in lessons except sport lessons, less motivation, decreasing in university exams, their number of answers in these exams, their cultural information and increasing of their behaviour problems at school are the disadvantages of our students.

In this Project we plan two mobilities. The first one is in the capital (Berlin) of Germany , its a seven days course about “Teaching Character: positive physcology for every teacher”.Four persons attandance is planned for this course. The aim of the course is to help the teachers who form classes to educate students available for 21st Century. 

Second mobility is  five days Job Shadowing in the capital (Berlin) Germany. We planned four persons to join this Job Shadowing. Our techers will have the opportunity of observing different educating methods, how they teach it, how being a European Citisen and harmony in different cultures in a big country which is one of the most important founder of European Community.

The survey of risk factors which is carried out in our school and according to some positive physcology scales  beside our students’ educational disadvantages, physcological well-being, ability of coping with stress forced us to develop and surge new educational methods.

Self-development of our teachers, courses, job shadowing, surveys, different types of meetings, workshops helps the decrease of problems like absenteesm, failure in lessons. These affect our teachers and students positively that they have the love of learning and having success.
