Objectives: What do you want to achieve by implementing the project?
With this project, we want to develop recycling and environmental awareness, starting from a very young
age, within the scope of the social responsibility task that is a part of education. Also, we want to raise awareness about the importance of conscious use of resources and how waste
materials can be evaluated. By implementing our project successfully, the less our next generations will suffer from resource shortages and the future
generations will have a more livable world. Implementation: What activities are you going to implement? There
will be activities mostly for students in partner schools with waste materials in order to raise awareness on recycling. For example, fashion show, drama, creating music instument, collecting
plastic on the beach, theatre, seperating boxes, visit to a recycle facility, picture frame, workshops, building eco-robots and doll houses, posters and banners. Apart from these, we will
have a project logo, facebook page, website and also eTwinning project.
Results: What results do you expect your project to have?
With the implementation of our project, we expect to have a conscious generation in the future who will
understand the importance of separating waste materials. As a result of this conscious, a cleaner and healthier environment for living beings will be created. Recycling will become a way of
life. Environmental pollution and diseases will decrease, the life of the world will be extended. Sense of achievement will develop and a step towards internationalization will be
taken.
Following training from ARDA Beratung & Bildung:
- Teachers and students will effectively promote environmental awareness.
- Teachers will teach nature and environment topics with increased confidence and
enthusiasm.
- Prejudices against other cultures will diminish, fostering new friendships.
- Teachers will use engaging teaching methods, including project-based, game-based, and drama-based
approaches, to captivate students' attention.
Students have gained awareness of their environmental impact through waste and have found ways to reduce
pollution. This heightened environmental consciousness has prompted both students and parents to recognize the significance of recycling and adopt sustainable practices.
Students and teachers who are more sensitive not only to local pollution but also to the pollution on our planet will be informed about climate change and recycling.
Their awareness of foreign languages will increase, they will become active world citizens who want to teach new languages and respect different cultures and nations. They will be able to think
critically, solve problems, have 21st century skills, be active, open to innovations and productive.
The participants will gain awareness of environmental pollution caused by waste materials. They will acquire knowledge about recycling
processes and ways to reduce pollution. They will also understand the economic aspects of reusing materials. Additionally, they will become more diligent in correctly sorting and disposing of waste.
Furthermore, they will be inclined to educate other family members, friends, and acquaintances about these important issues.
