Seven vocational teachers from twenty-two provinces of Turkey have completed a four-week Vocational and Educational Training Program. This program was prepared by ARDA Consulting & Education in cooperation with its expert network. Participants updated their practical knowledge, refreshed their pedagogical skills, and broadened their job-related skills and competencies. The program included structured courses, job-shadowing, observation periods, workshops, seminars, and presentations at various institutions, including:

• BARMER GEK (Health Insurance) - Understanding the integration of health insurance in patient care

• Deutsches Rotes Kreuz** (German Red Cross) - Engaging in emergency response and elderly care services

• gfp Gesellschaft für Pflege- und Sozialberufe gGmbH** - Participating in specialized training for social and nursing professions

• Agaplesion gAG - Observing advanced elderly care practices and palliative care approaches

• Vocational High Schools:

• Oberstufenzentrum Körperpflege - Practical seminars on personal care and hygiene

• Jane-Addams-Schule Oberstufenzentrum Sozialwesen, Berufsausbildung Sozialassistenz- Workshops on social assistance and community care

• Oberstufenzentrum Gesundheit - Courses on health education and nursing practices

The program was designed to comprehensively enhance the professional capabilities of the participants through a blend of practical and theoretical approaches. This included hands-on experience in diverse care settings, exposure to the German healthcare system, and opportunities to network with international experts in nursing and elderly care. The comprehensive training equipped the participants with advanced skills and knowledge to improve healthcare standards and educational practices in their respective regions in Turkey.
